Cecil Porter

Cecil Porter was appointed Village Clerk in July 2025, following the resignation of Gina LoGalbo. He will serve until May 2027.

A Flossmoor resident, Porter is an attorney with more than 20 years of legal experience representing individuals, small businesses and major corporations in defense litigation. He has served on the Flossmoor Green Commission for two years and has volunteered at Village events for several years. He is a member of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association. Porter’s J.D. degree was earned at Northern Illinois University’s College of Law; he received his B.A. in Business & Accounting at Illinois College.
