James Mitros was first elected to the Board in 1995. His current term expires in 2027.
Trustee Mitros graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences in Management from Purdue University. He served on the Flossmoor Zoning Board of Appeals from 1993 to 1995. Trustee Mitros is the Vice President of Sales for a steel-processing company, and is a member of the Flossmoor Country Club.
Trustee Mitros has been a resident of Flossmoor since 1971. He and his wife, Nancy, have four children: Mary Erin, Catherine, John and Anna Mae.
