The Finance Department oversees revenue collections and expenditure payments which comprise the Village's annual budget. The Finance Department provides essential administrative services to a wide array of customers including:

  • Residents
  • Village Board
  • Village Manager
  • Other Village Departments and Employees


The Finance Department is responsible for the following activities:

  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Budget maintenance
  • Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)
  • Front desk cashier/receptionist
  • Fulfillment of daily village clerk duties including local elections
  • General ledger accounting
  • Investments
  • Managing bank accounts and cash flow
  • Payroll and human resources
  • Processing permits and licenses (vehicle stickers, parking permits, animal licenses, restaurant and liquor licenses, and yard collection stickers)
  • Renting of Village facilities
  • Risk management
  • Supervision of annual audit
  • Utility billing and payments
  • Voter registration
