Manager's Office

The Village of Flossmoor operates under the Council-Manager form of government that combines the political leadership of an elected Mayor and 6 Board of Trustees members with the managerial experience of an appointed Village Manager.

Responsibilities
The Village Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Village of Flossmoor and oversees all Village Departments. The office is responsible for:
  • The dissemination of information to the Village Board
  • Preparation of the Village Board Agenda
  • Developing programs and budgets to respond to the Village Board's goals
  • Ensuring that residents receive effective and efficient village services
  • Development and oversight of the Village's annual budget and capital improvement program
  • Approval and coordination of all Village events
  • Communications and marketing
